Birthday's and Bunnies

So our Moose turned 11.  Hard to believe that I've been a mom that long!  Jake is the very definition of the oldest child.  He is very responsible, almost too responsible at times.  I can see that being the oldest has created the burden of having to do more, and help more with the younger siblings.  The majority of the time he takes on the responsibility independently, and without complaint.  He is a great little man, and I look forward to seeing him continue to mature, and become an amazing man that God has blessed me with the privilege of being called, "mom" by.

Jake's cake... Yellow with Chocolate frosting, his fav!

Wishing for summer?

Birthday hugs from Papaw.

Opening presents with Ol' Pa looking on.
"Any money in them cards?"

"A shirt? Are you serious?"

Yes, cash!  At least I can go buy video games!

Bakugon, getting better, at least it's not another shirt.

Finally, a new bike.

Here I go!

Happy Birthday, Jake!  The day was beautiful, as is your spirit.  I am so grateful for all that you bring to our home, and to our family.  You are so bright, loving, and willing to be anyones friend.  I hope your positive attitude towards any challenge continues.  I love you endlessly!

The Bunny paid us a visit

I am always so glad that the Easter Bunny hears my pleas and brings my kids simple trinkets, and books.  We get plenty of chocolate and sweets at the church/family festivities that we love the practical stuff!  Way to go Easter Bunny!!

Noah really was excited to get a new I Spy book.

Jake got book #3 in the 39 clues series he loves.

Madie got the Diary of a whimpy kid 'do it yourself' book.
Looks like she is already starting to journal.

Annika loves Fancy Nancy!  Here she is with her very own sticker book.

After our basket adventure, and the church activities we headed up to Springfield for the extended family lunch and egg hunt extravaganza!!

Little Azariah checking out the buffet table... Hmm... wonder if I can
sneak a bite of that sweet potato cassarole?

The hunt is on!

Annika and Montana in search mode.

Mundy's and their loot.

Rosie and I take a break from directing little ones to eggs.

Noah had a shoe malfunction during his hunt.

The kids start to empty the eggs to see the treasure.

Noah displays some of his goodies.

Money + Candy= Great Easter

What a fantastic adventure April held for us.  So glad to be able to spend time with family celebrating birthday's of loved ones, and celebrating the promise of eternal life, and the love of Jesus for each one of us.

Catching up...

Our glass is always more than half full!

Aaron and I are busy trying to get our final quarter before graduation done.  In addition the kids have tons of end of the year activities for scouts, heritage girls, school, speech... I am sure you get the point!

I have so many amazing pictures to share of Jake's birthday, Easter, Spring, and of course our biggest most recent event, the Flying Pig Marathon!

In the meantime I am keeping a positive mindset that I will be able to get those and more on here.  Sorry for being the worlds busiest blogger.  We have been busy with life lately.
