memories of Huntsville fun

While in Huntsville we got to go to SciQuest.  SciQuest is a children's science center where you can participate in experiments, and play with some cool stuff!  We spent quite a bit of time there, and at times I think the adults enjoyed some of the things more than the kids.

Here's Jake, Noah and Madie ready to go!

I love these fun mirrors, I guess Annika thought it was pretty cool too!

Noah loved this experiment.  He kept making the flame over and over.

Jake is learning about friction.

Noah making patterns with sand, a funnel and a pendulum.

Fun at the magnet table!

They wanted to make a bridge.

Alex loved this table!  The air made the balls float, and he loved "catching" them.

Annika spent a lot of time at the water table making mazes for the balls to race down.

We had a hard time getting Alex out of this one.  Smoke comes out and makes a tornado, he was so fascinated with it.  He would giggle and dance around it.

Noah loved the labyrinth table.

Jake making some percussion noise.

Everyone loved the Toot table.  Every wondered why some toots are squeeky?  This table told you why.  Here is Noah making some toots, with the assistance of the tubes, of course!

A climbing wall make of, eh, interesting grips.

Here, Madie is making the man drink soda to the point that he burps.  Little Alex was not happy when he did either.

Operation, only on a larger, and more educational scale.  No bread baskets here!

My kids always find the music.

Between here and there...

Alex was so happy the entire day.  What a sweetie!

We had so much fun in Bama'  and we are looking forward to future visits!  The kids talk about how they loved running around, teaching Aunt Debbie to wii, and going out for book nights.
