My week can be summed up in one word: OY!
Week #2 of school for the Monkeys and we are still out of sorts. I was under the impression that it got easier the older they got. Huh! I won't go into the horrid details, but I have already had to conference with teachers for 2 of the kids. I will not tolerate my child being punched, and I will not tolerate my child be berated in front of the class. I seriously hope that things improve, this is day 9 of the school year. I am not sure if I can get to June if this is how the school year is going to go.
Soccer season is a week away, and still no schedule. I get irked by this every year. We usually get it by the middle of the week of the starting weekend. Grrr.... For those who know me, they know I am wound tight over this. For those who don't know, well... Tina has a rigid calendar she keeps for 7 people, and she NEEDS to know what is going on a month or two out.
Dear Miss CCSA Soccer Scheduler: I CAN'T be settled with my weekends knowing that there are multiple activities and I don't know the times. How can I plan to RSVP for weddings and showers when I don't know soccer times? Deer season starts in 3 weeks, so I need to know since I will be the only parent shuttling 4 children to their various weekend activities, including soccer. If you want a successful soccer program in Clermont County, get your act together. Thanks, Tina
Ruby has been in the shop for 3 weeks now. Yet, another but GRRR.... I am dealing with. It appeared that she needed a new brain (computer), which she got this week. The diagnostic came back all messed up and it is now suspected that there is an electrical issue going on which fried the brain she had. (I can relate) So the hope is to find the source of the electrical issue so as not to fry the new brain she just got! ( can I get one too?) I am secretly hoping that she short circuits and bursts into flames, then I can be rid of her. I however and not that lucky.
My goal for the weekend is to purge the negative energy I am stewing in. I am thinking the kids and I will meet with some friends at the winery for some relax time. Then we can come home and either do board games, or watch a movie. Tomorrow the Chief and I will take the kids to swim at the Y, and then have some much needed Mogel time. Sunday we will continue our Mundy's Southern Ohio Church Tour, and spend time at Pitzer. And Monday is open for family discussion. See, I can have an open schedule here or there.
Serenity NOW!!! :)
